    People on the web – like Reuters, Wall Street, etc. – who intend to charge for reading, good for them that they remain overwhelmingly wishful: they think they are too good & better than others, so people have to pay for reading on their website.

    Only there delirium will make them feel good for a little while, then they have to gird up their loins to face the reality: readers will read somewhere else. Or they have to learn from people like NY Times and stop whining & CNN.

    Sounds interesting enough.. Perhaps what many of the major businesses are lacking in their business models is the importance of advertising. The key to a profitable business is reaching a broad markets (If you think in pennies, you'll get pennies).

    Diversification is key to growth, but at what cost.
