(CNN) - When Christopher Luxon became Air New Zealand CEO, he focused on growth and profitability without losing sight of the customers’ needs, and earned his company numerous industry awards. While Luxon says there is always room for improvement, he admits that translating every new idea into dollars isn’t always easy.

    What a visionary! Keeping the cost the same for 40 years, at the same time sufficiently focusing on profitability and growth. Without losing track of what is most important, customer satisfaction. Indeed there is always room for improvement.
